Wildfire Inc. Provides Specialized Lighting For Newest Gameworks Venue

LOS ANGELES – March 29, 2004 – Wildfire Inc. of Los Angeles, California was recently the choice for specialized lighting at the newest Gameworks in Long Beach, California.

In addition to interactive gaming and arcades this new installation features a ten lane bowling center, a restaurant and two bars for a complete entertainment experience.

Working closely with Visual Terrain of Van Nuys, California, Wildfire provided seventy of their high-powered linear fluorescent Effects Master Series Lighting fixtures which combine white and black lighting, controlled separately, for the ten lane bowling center. The lanes and seating area are lit with white light by day, then transformed to a colorful glow at night, setting the mood for a fun, hip atmosphere.

Visual Terrain specializes in design lighting for architectural and destination entertainment products. Eileen Thomas, Senior Project Designer at Visual Terrain, said, “The primary reason we chose Wildfire’s product is because of its high output and versatility, plus it looks good on an open ceiling like the Gameworks bowling center.” Candela Controls, Inc. of Florida was contracted to install the lighting according to the design plan.

John Berardi, Vice President at Wildfire, said, “This is the second Gameworks venue we’ve worked on with Visual Terrain, and it was great having this opportunity again.”

The Long Beach Gameworks is a 40,000 square foot facility that opened last year on the waterfront and is the fifteenth domestically located venue.
